It is a no-brainer that 2021 and 2020 were the years of downfall for the movie and cinema industry. There were hardly any movies released in theaters, and even the ones released on OTT platforms were bleh and had no catching storyline or cast.

Although the cinema world has come out strong from its massive downfall in the last two years, some movies did not cut the mark, according to movie critics and audiences. So if you wish to know what movies to stay away from, here is a list of the most petite favorite film of 2022.

Senior Year

Senior Year

If you’re a fan of comedy, you can watch this movie, but we suggest you skip it because it follows a plot cringe comedy. Instead of this, you can even opt for ‘Peggy Sue Got Married, or Never Been Kissed, which you will enjoy better.

Father Stu

It is a Mark Wahlberg project which is about a boxer-turned-priest. But, unfortunately, according to movie critics and audiences, it looks more like a Pinterest or Instagram ad in which the audience shows no interest.

The King’s Daughter

The King's Daughter

This is a movie that is released after eight years of hiding. While it was expected to be a huge blockbuster, it remained, in hindsight, the worst movie. With Perce Brosnan and Kaya Scodelario’s center stage performance, people expected it to be one of the best movies of all time in the genre, but it turned out to be a structural mess from the very beginning till the end.

Blacklight

The bare minimum action and the minimal and rigid dialogue given to Liam Nesson were a disaster. When the lead actor’s part in the movie is dodgy, only a little can be expected out of the film. Liam Nesson is an excellent catch for a movie like this. Still, the delivery failure and the minimalistic cinematography managed to give the worst movie of his career instead of the Broadway Theater he deserved. The movie follows an action plot with some hints of political conspiracy. Also, the audience wonders why it is called the Blacklight in the first place.

The Bubble

The Bubble

The movie had a formidable cast with an unfiltered comedy mastermind. It also boasted some of the best writers in the Hollywood industry, but somehow it became a recipe for failure due to the timing of its release. It was released during the peak COVID-19 season. No one wishes to laugh at jokes in a movie when the entire world is in the middle of a pandemic. The Bubble was intended to be a comedy movie that expected the audience to embrace the new way of life. However, the internet disliked the genre because of the flat jokes and the chaotic disarray of characters.
