Theater Releases – 4/21
Last week Rio took number 1 at the box office, proving once again all the money is in CGI animals. Scream 4 did respectable numbers coming in second place. The big release this week is the film adaptation of the international bestseller Water for Elephants.
Water for Elephants
Synopsis: A veterinary student abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet.
Buzz: Reese Witherspoon hasn’t appeared in a film since 2008 so it should be interesting to see her perform once again. Also, Christoph Waltz should be entertaining in his second role after his oscar winning performance for Inglorious Basterds.
