Following the lead from one of my favorite blogs, Front Room Cinema, I’d like to take some time to ask what you’d like to see more of here at Impassionedcinema.
I’ve experimented lately with posts that occur at certain days of the week. As I’m sure you’ve seen me experiment with some sort of system.
Monday – What Have you Been Watching? (Should I just number these or refresh them every week?)
Wednesday – Links from around the LAMB network
Thursday – Biweekly Thursday Trilogy posts
Friday:Sunday – VOTW
Which one of these are working and which ones aren’t really having an effect on your visits to Impassionedcinema? Do you miss our ‘Behind the Camera‘ posts? Would you like to see more Discussions like ‘Films you love, but don’t need to watch again‘?
How about our coverage regarding Movie Reviews, Film News, Awards, and Trailers? Are you getting tired of that or get enough of it elsewhere?
The Trailers and Movie Reviews won’t be going away since I love these too much, but I could continue to phase-out film news.
What do you think? Would you like to see more mediocre films reviewed or do you like the consistent quality I look for in the movies I review?
The website is really lacking in the Email Subscriptions department. I’m not sure of our numbers regarding RSS feed subscriptions, but if you haven’t subscribed to our email please do so. Also if you have suggestions on how I could better advertise that fact let me know.
I love listening to Podcasts and I have been on a few and also hosted my own radio show in College. I’m thinking about putting one together. Of course it wouldn’t be a long show to start, but I’d love to recreate the magic that I hear on some of my favorite shows. There’s a banter that’s hard to achieve with mixing up the cast all the time, so I’d like to keep it to two main podcasters and a guest now and then.
Are you interested in this?
Thanks so much for your interested in Impassionedcinema. This is my current full-time job and I try my best to create content that is both fun and informative. If I’m not hitting the right notes please let us know!
