Robert Pattinson Can’t See ‘Breaking Dawn’ As PG-13

EW-PattinsonI was discussing this recently just based on what I’ve heard of the last book in the ‘Twilight’ Saga. How could Summit Entertainment hope to get a PG-13 and still stay true to the fans of ‘Breaking Dawn’?

Entertainment Weekly recently caught up with Pattinson and he said, “I just can’t see how it’s going to be PG-13 … unless they cut everything out.” He went on to say, “There’s some interesting and weird stuff going on — really very, very, very strange. It’s great. For a big, mainstream movie, it’s the most obscure storyline and really outside the box. It’s a horror movie.”

I don’t think I care to see how ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ ends considering I haven’t seen the others or read the books, but it will be interesting to see how much Summit Entertainment ends up trimming from the film for the all mighty dollar.

UPDATE: Thompson on Hollywood heard from a Summit spokeswoman that an R-rating will never happen: “Breaking Dawn will be a PG-13. It will not be rated R.”
