Redbox Plans Online Streaming Program

Redbox

Redbox has just announced to a group of analysts their plans to enter the Online Streaming ring against Netflix.  Redbox biggest strength was its easy accessibility due to the many kiosks they have at gas stations, supermarkets, etc.   Now they hope to make things even easier for their customers with living room streaming content.

Netflix, long the leader in streaming content, is on countless set-top boxes, televisions, game consoles, and cell phones.  This reach is something Redbox will have to make if they have any chance to take some of Netflix market share.  Redbox plans to have a similar subscription-based model for their streaming services.
