The results are in!

The Artist took the night with five Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Costume Design, Best Directing, and Best Original Score. Hugo also scored five Academy Awards, but mostly in the technical categories.

    No surprises then! How very dull.

    Can’t believe a film about Thatcher won, do they not realise she ruined UK?

      I don’t know much about Thatcher, but I do understand the politics of the Oscars. Meryl should’ve won for previous roles shes had over the years probably not this one. The only ‘surprise’ that killed me was Cinematography. Tree of Life was so much better than anyone else, it’s a damn shame.

    I dont believe that Harry Potter didnt win even one Oscar!
    Thats really dissappointing…

      I was hoping it would win makeup atleast. It was a well done film, but I’ve afraid it doesn’t mirror the tastes of old, affluent, white men.

    No big surprises! I did like the editing and sound editing speeches, the guys were hilarious and Emma Stone, as well, she is always adorable!
