First Look: ‘Stoker’ Trailer starring Nicole Kidman’s Psycho Face

Posted September 28, 2012 by Max in Trailers

The first trailer for Park Chan-wook‘s (best known for Oldboy) first English language film, Stoker, is now available. The film seems to play into the horror aspect more than the idea of revenge he used for his most successful films. The film stars Nicole Kidman as Evelyn whose husband has recently passed away due to an auto accident. Evelyn and her daughter India (Mia Wasikowska), are visited by Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode). What originally began as a relationship between Evelyn and Charlie, slowly turns into a relationship between India and Charlie. Crazy stuff indeed.

Apple has the trailer in HD. Stoker is set for release on March 1, 2013.

After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
