Lars Von Trier’s ‘Melancholia’ Trailer
Lars Von Trier‘s new film ‘Melancholia‘ had it’s debut this morning on the web with the first trailer for the film.
Lars Von Trier made his mark in the film world most notably with his last release, ‘Antichrist’. The extremely gory and criticized film split audiences. Some loved it, others loathed it. Given his ability as a visionary though, there is a great reason to be excited about ‘Melancholia’.
THR describes the trailer as:
Kirsten Dunst‘s character Justine is celebrating her wedding to Michael (Alexander Skarsgard) at the luxurious home of sister Claire (Gainsbourg) and brother-in-law John (Sutherland). Meanwhile the planet Melancholia is heading towards earth, setting off a destructive chain of physical and psychological events.
