John Goodman Joins Paramount’s ‘Flight’
According to Deadline, John Goodman has joined the cast of the Robert Zemeckis-directed ‘Flight’, which stars Denzel Washington as an airline pilot who averts a plane crash, only to come under a cloud for possible substance abuse problems.
Goodman will play a friend of the pilot who helps him with his problems. Goodman has been on a tear lately. After spending a year on the under-appreciated ‘Treme’, he also will appear in the Oscar-buzzing ‘The Artist‘ and ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close‘ later this year.
