Jeremy Renner Set to Take Over Bourne Series

Out of all the actors I would’ve picked to take over the Bourne series, Jeremy Renner would be at the top of the list. Variety is reporting that might be the case as Renner has been over the lead role in the new Bourne movie titled The Bourne Legacy. According to early reports of the script, Renner will have his own character in the universe and not be playing Jason Bourne, that Matt Damon made famous.

Renner has proven his mettle with acting with his Oscar nominated roles in The Hurt Locker and The Town.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but if Renner accepts the role this will certainly be his biggest role to date and his name used to sell the next feature in the Bourne franchise.
