Hugh Jackman In Talks to Star in Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables Movie
Tony Award-winning / dancing fool, Hugh Jackman is in talks to star in Tom Hooper’s adaptation of Les Miserables.
According to Movie|Line, Jackman is reportedly up for the role of Jean Valjean, which Liam Neeson played in Bille August’s 1998 screen adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel.
This will be Tom Hooper’s first movie since winning the Academy Award for Best Director (The King’s Speech).
