Focus Features’ Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy Gets Release Date
According to THR, Focus Features will release Tomas Alfredson’s (Let the Right One In) new british film Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - starring Gary Oldman and Colin Firth – in America on Nov 18 2011.
The film is based on a John Le Carre Cold War spy novel. Tinker, also stars Tom Hardy, Mark Strong, and Ciaran Hinds.
While Alfredson’s last film turned a lot of heads it will be interesting if Tinker, Tailor has the same effect. It is being positioned for award contention and will open opposite Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 giving movie fans a reason to go to the theaters that weekend.
