Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark Trailer
Don’t be Afraid of the Dark has been in limbo far too long. Originally supposed to be released by Miramax, it is now being released by FilmDistrict for a August 2011 release. The Troy Nixey directed, Guillermo del Toro produced family vs. monsters film will be one of the only horror films released this summer and at least it holds some promise. As typically of a del Toro film, the creatures look incredible and the film is sure to offer some great sequences. The only downside…Katie Holmes stars in the picture. This is a buzz kill for me, but perhaps I can just ignore her and enjoy the picture? Check out the debut trailer below:
