Director’s Guild of America (DGA) Nominations
The top five director’s have been chosen by the Director’s Guild of America (DGA) for the year 2011. Hazanavicius and Payne were sure bets. Allen and Scorsese were more than likely. That left the last spot up for grabs. Many thought it was going to be Spielberg for his work on War Horse, but no one expected David Fincher to make it onto the short list. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo will probably be nominated for best picture now, which can only improve its box-office take.
