The biggest snub of the award nominations yesterday has to be director Christopher Nolan. Nolan, whose film “Inception” garnered eight academy award nominations, failed to get acknowledged for his work on the film. His previous films are all heavily acclaimed including; The Dark Knight, The Prestige, and Memento.
Many thought after he didn’t get nominated for “The Dark Knight”, that “Inception” would be his big break. According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans were outraged on Twitter that Nolan failed to receive a nomination. For reference, “Inception” ranks as the eighth best film of all time on IMDB.com.
