Beautiful New Pictures from The Lone Ranger Starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer

Posted October 1, 2012 by Max in Film News

Filming on the plagued Gore Verbinski film, The Lone Ranger, has finally been completed. According to THR, Filming on the Johnny Depp starrer began Feb. 28 in New Mexico and is expected to wrap at the end of September, for a total of between 140 and 150 shooting days. Not only did Verbinski’s perfectionism play a part in the extremely long production schedule, they were also interrupted by things outside of their control. Between injuries to Depp, wind and dust storms that damaged the sets, and the death of welder, The Lone Ranger has been quite the production.

The Western ended up costing Disney almost 250$ million dollars when all was said and done. I predict another catastrophe on the scale of J0hn Carter, but that is only my opinion. The film does have Johnny Depp on its side though, so perhaps I’ll be proven wrong. The Lone Ranger also co-stars Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Featured below are some beautiful new pictures from the end of production on The Lone Ranger.

The Lone Ranger opens July 3, 2013.
