Review: This is 40
Judd Apatow has perhaps turned the mirror on his own life in This is 40. Unfortunately, it’s not always a pretty sight. Featuring a couple that is going through a midlife crisis, This is 40 is a mess, providing minimal laughs for an extremely bloated run-time. There are some moments of genuine humor, but they are few and far between. It is easily one of the biggest disappointments of the year.
