2011 Oscar Picks
James Franco and Anne Hathaway: Oscar Presenters
It all comes down to this. This Sunday, the 83rd Academy Awards air on ABC at 8pm. The front-runner in the beginning with all the critics awards was ‘The Social Network‘. Then the guilds made their mark. ‘The King’s Speech‘ swept the DGA, PGA, and SAG leading many to believe the tides have changed. Many are predicting a clean sweep for ‘The King’s Speech’ and now ‘The Social Network’ has become the underdog. Watch the broadcast for two important signals for the rest of the night. One, if ‘The King’s Speech’ picks up Best Supporting Actor in an upset expect the whole night to be a sweep for ‘The King’s Speech’. Secondly, nothing could be much worse than the interpretive dance numbers from last year.
